Valley Outreach has been feeding our hungry neighbors since 1983 and assisting our neighbors in need with other basic services (clothing, household essentials, and emergency financial assistance) since 2005. Before 2005, they were known as the St. Croix Valley Food Shelf and the St. Croix Emergency Food Shelf.

They currently are giving more than 40,000 pounds of food to nearly 400 hungry households every month through their Food Shelf, giving clothing and accessories to more than 350 households every month through The Clothing Closet, and giving an average of $6,500 in emergency financial assistance to about 25 households each month through the Emergency Fund.

Memorial volunteers quarterly for one week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.  Five volunteers are needed to stock shelves, unload truck, dispense items.  Also, as needed, donated food from Memorial must be delivered to the Food Shelf in Stillwater.
