Our church community is blessed with many talented members who willingly and generously share their musical gifts. Pianists, vocalists, guitarists, brass and wind players regularly perform during Sunday worship services and special church events such as our annual Advent Vespers service.

Choral music is a treasured part of our Lutheran heritage. Our Chancel Choir performs a wide variety of anthems and helps lead the singing of hymns and liturgy. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and sings on Sundays, September through May. New adult and high school age members are always welcome. Please contact our Director of Music Ministry, Lynn Dewall, via the church office if you would like more information or to join our talented group.

Bell Choir

Memorial Lutheran Church has four octaves of beautiful Malmark handbells that are used in the worship service.

The handbell choir consists of a cross-generational group of members of the church community.

The bell choir will have around 6 rehearsals all leading up to ringing at this year’s Advent Vespers. No musical experience is necessary beyond the desire to contribute beautiful music to the worship service. This group of volunteers is dedicated to that goal.

We are so pleased to welcome Anthony Afful to our music ministry team! Anthony will be leading a bell choir beginning in October until Advent Vespers on December 3rd..

For more information on how to join the Bell Choir, contact the church office.
