Construction Update
We have received notice that construction on County Road 18 west of Memorial Lutheran will resume on April 19, 2010.
- Construction Overview:
- Segment 1: St. Croix Trail to Trading Post Trail, green on the map.
- Segment 2: Trading Post Trail to Neal Avenue, yellow on the map.
- Segment 3: Neal Avenue to Manning Avenue, red on the map.
- Segment 2: Trading Post Trail to Neal Avenue, yellow on the map.
Segment 1 was mostly completed last fall and was the section that most impacted our church traffic. There is some finishing work to be completed concerning the retaining wall by the church but is, essentially, done.
Segment 3 will be the next portion of construction and will be restricted to local, ONE-WAY traffice in the WESTBOUND direction while the road is rebuilt. When segment 3 is done they will then work on segment 2, which will also be one-way for westbound traffic only.
For those coming from Woodbury areas you can get to Memorial Lutheran by using either:
• 30th St, which is north of Cty 18 (blue on the map) or
• 50th St, which is south of Cty 18 (teal on the map)
and then take Trading Post Trail back to Cty 18.
The estimated completion schedule for the entire roadway is November 2010.
