Teachers Needed
Calling all Sunday School and Confirmation teachers. Help build faith in our kids.
Classes begin September 16th with a teacher meeting at 8:45 on September 9th.
We are seeking 2 teachers per grade level, so please sign up HERE or by completing a paper copy in the church entry.
You can also sign up to help with confirmation, and any high school youth can sign up to help “shepherd”.

Please register your children for Sunday School and Confirmation.We have Sunday morning offerings for children age 3 – grade 9. This group will serve those in need within our church community and in the St. Croix River Valley. On Thursday, August 9th Pastor Elizabeth led a group of Memorial members to Holden Village.
Pastor Elizabeth will remain at the village for an additional week to serve on teaching staff.
Pastor Sam Wolff will again be preaching and presiding in worship on August 19th.
Nursery Workers
We are looking to hire an additional nursery attendant. This person needs to be 16 years of age, have a love for God and children and be a dependable worker. We are hiring two nursery workers this year so that people have flexibility in their schedules. Each shift is approximately and hour and a half with a $20/morning compensation. Please let Pastor Elizabeth or Nick know if you are interested.
Last Wednesday Meal

All are welcome to join us for this monthly meal.Come and eat, we’ll have an activity following the meal. Freewill donation.
HOPE FOR THE JOURNEY HOME SHELTER
Three area churches have joined together to pool volunteers for shifts at the Hope for the Journey Homeless Shelter in Oakdale the week of Aug 26 to Sept 01, 2018. Now is the time to signup on the online calendar: HfJH Week of August 26 Signup. As we did in May earlier this year, you can chose any OPEN shift in the week. Also, please note that we need to run NEW volunteer background checks every 3 years.
Hope for the Journey Home shelter is doing a supply drive during the run up to serving. We need to stock up on disinfecting cleaning wipes, soft soap hand soap, or hand sanitizer gel. Please consider supporting the shelter by bringing these household supplies to church Sunday, August 26.
Mike Fouts, coordinator of volunteers, is stepping down after 6 years at Hope for the Journey Home. Mike will be greatly missed. Announcements and posting information will be coming soon.
