The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10
Where do we turn when we’re scared? For many it is our home, for others it is to certain people. No matter where we turn, we can have faith that their is safety with God, even if it comes in ways we may not understand.
Build a fort today. Use cardboard boxes, pillows, blankets, anything you can find. Use this to remind your kids that God is our shelter and refuge, God’s name is “a strong tower.” Perhaps, pray together inside the fort.
Dear God, Help us to trust you in times when we are scared and to remember that you are our strong tower. Amen.
