This Memorial Day, remember all of the gifts you receive simply be being in the United States. We remember all of those men and women who have given their lives so that we might enjoy a good life here. Today, draw a picture of the flag. Then, think of 50 (yes, 50!) things about the United States that make you thankful to be here.
Dear God, we pray for children in all countries, but today we especially say thank you for our lives here in the United States. We also pray for all men and women who have given their lives for us; may their family’s find peace in you. Amen.
